Equipped with flat Alnico 8 pole pieces, the Super 8 single coil pickup is an innovative model with great results. The design combines a higher number of turns than any other standard Stratocaster® pickup along with a finer and more resistive copper wire. The result is a defined tone with twang, but with a much higher output level that matches with moderate or moderate-high output standard humbuckers. We know that pickup output unbalance is a common problem in H-S-S configurations and the Super 8 solves this issue while retaining vintage aspects of tone. By providing good mids, you will hear deep bass response and good highs without being harsh. The middle pickup is RWRP, reverse wind reverse polarity, for noise cancellation in the in-between 2 and 4 positions. Proudly made in Florida-BA, this pickup is hand built in our workshop and wax potted for squeal free operation.
