The P-J Custom V Set offers a great variety of sounds to the bass player: the Precision ® provides deep and warm tone that defines the 50’s and the Jazz Bass ® Bridge hum-canceling, brings out warmth and fullness to the instrument while maintaining clarity and definition. The Jazz Bass linear humbucking design uses two coils next to each other under the vintage cover. The way the coils are wired gives this pickup a low end that can be missing from traditional single coil Jazz bass pickups. Each pickup is noiseless by itself and when both pickups are connected together. The set is a drop-in replacement for any American Standard P-J Bass ®.
