Classic sweet and warm tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain, this ALNICO 2 set is wound for the right amount of output and brightness without being too muddy or thin. Compare to the DS60, this Jazz Bass ® pickups have a focused upper definition with more twang and extra aggressiveness since the ALNICO polepieces are closer to the strings. Built with the right color and thickness of vulcanized fiber, the pickups have a vintage cover look and when connected together the neck and bridge pickups opposite polarity and wind make them hum-canceling. This set is a drop-in replacement for any American Standard Jazz Bass ®.
