The Basilisco is a fluorescent green lizard that has the incredible property of being able to run on water without sinking. My son Milo Soich first introduced me to it during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the idea of designing an unmatched bobbin humbucker with that name immediately arose. It's an ultra-versatile and “elusive” P.A.F. 59’s humbucker with a crystal-clear, defined tone and incredible dynamics. Chords are open with a balanced bass-midrange and treble response. The neck model offers the right combination of body and clarity, cutting through the mix without difficulty. The bridge version is slightly punchy, percussive, and dynamic, ideal for all types of overdrives and classic effects. With a moderate output to allow for better control of the guitar, it comes with a 4-conductor cable with a shield for multiple connections. Proudly made in Florida-BA, this pickup is hand built in our workshop and wax potted for squeal free operation.
